Upcoming Activities

Welcome back, Pack families—and happy New Year! We hope your holiday break was full of rest, fun, and good memories. As we turn the page into a new year, we’re grateful for the time, energy, and encouragement you give to make Scouting such a positive part of your Scout’s life.

Our first Den meeting back is this coming Monday, and it’ll be a great chance to reconnect after the long break, shake off the rust, and jump back into the fun. Believe it or not, we’re about halfway through the Scouting year already!

• Friday, January 16, 6:00 - 8:00: Pinewood Derby Check-In
• Saturday, January 17, 9:00 - 1:00: Pack Meeting - Pinewood Derby!
• Monday, January 19: No Meeting (Martin Luther King Day)
• Monday, January 26, 6:30 - 7:30: Den Meetings (St. Ambrose Center)
• Monday, February 2, 6:30 - 7:30: Den Meetings (St. Ambrose Center)
• Monday, February 9, 6:30 - 7:30: Den Meetings (St. Ambrose Center)

We've made some updates to the calendar for this spring, which includes details for the Spring campout. We are headed to Top Shot Jr, right here in OKC, at the John Nichols Scout Ranch. This means we have shifted our May 4th Den meeting to April 27th. We like to take the Monday off following a camp out, for recovery!

We are also working on a special camping opportunity for the Webelos (4th graders) to join the Scout Troop for an age-appropriate adventure to engage with older Scouts. The dates on this are still up in the air and should be firmed up in the next few weeks.

Pinewood Derby is almost here, and we hope everyone is doing great (and having fun) with their builds! As you put the finishing touches on your car—design, weights, wheels, and final polish—please be sure to check the Official Pinewood Derby Guide for all the important details, rules, and reminders to help race day go smoothly.
