Back to Den Meetings - TONIGHT!

After three weeks off, we are back to Den Meetings tonight!

Check-in night is our chance to make sure every car is safe, fair, and ready to race. Scouts will bring their finished cars for a quick inspection and official weigh-in, and families can make any last-minute rule-approved adjustments (like adding small weights) before the cars are checked in for race day.

• If you have extra weights and graphite, please bring to check-in to share!
• Scouts should have a name for their car ready at check-in.
• This is a come and go activity between 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Hopefully we can get everyone out of the door very quickly!
• Scouts will receive a personalized Pit Pass at check-in! If they missed the design meeting, please be sure you have provided your Scout's Den Leader with a picture to use on the Pit Pass!

**We will offer a LIMITED early morning check-in opportunity for Scouts that absolutely cannot make it Friday night, but this must be arranged with Mr. Danny ahead of time**

Pinewood Derby Day is the big main event where all the hard work pays off! Scouts will race their cars on the official track, cheer on their friends, and celebrate great effort, creativity, and good sportsmanship. Along with the racing, we’ll recognize winners for both speed and design, making it an exciting day for every Scout.

• 9:00-9:10: Kickoff
• 9:15-11:15: Speed competition
• 11:30-12:00: Announce results and give out trophies
• 12:00-12:10: Group picture
• 12:10-12:15: Closing remarks
• 12:15-12:45: Do it yourself racing
• 12:15-1:00: Breakdown and clean up (All available)

We would like to encourage anyone able and willing, to bring some snack or dink items to share at the Pinewood Derby! We are not planning any sort of items for sale this year. If you would like to bring something, we've created a SignUpGenius.

• Saturday, January 17, 9:00 - 1:00: Pack Meeting - Pinewood Derby!
• Monday, January 19: No Meeting (Martin Luther King Day)
• Monday, January 26, 6:30 - 7:30: Den Meetings (St. Ambrose Center)
• Monday, February 2, 6:30 - 7:30: Den Meetings (St. Ambrose Center)
