America250 Celebration

Pack 331 families, this May our Scouts have the chance to be part of something bigger than an ordinary weekend event. The America250 Celebration is Last Frontier Council’s tribute to the 250th anniversary of American independence, bringing Scouts together for a day of patriotism, hands-on activities, outdoor skill demonstrations, ceremonies, and an evening fireworks show. It should be a fun way for our Cub Scouts to celebrate citizenship, adventure, and the spirit of Scouting while taking part in a memorable council-wide event.

Families can enjoy program booths and activities throughout the day, with the building opening to guests at 11:00 AM and booths available from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, then reopening after the afternoon patriotic ceremony. The event wraps up with a final program at 7:30 PM and fireworks at 8:30 PM. Registration is online, with early bird pricing of $10 for registered members through April 15, then $15 per person after that. General admission for guests is $5, and non-Scout children under age 10 are free. Registration closes on May 15. Scouts should plan to wear their field uniform (Class A) and come ready for a great day representing Pack 331.

Pack 331 will not meet on March 16 because we’ll be observing Spring Break—which is the official Cub Scout season for sleeping in, eating snacks, and pretending sunscreen counts as a uniform. Enjoy the week off, and we’ll see everyone back soon.
