Upcoming Cannot Miss Activities

As we head into the busy spring and summer season, Pack 331 has several of the biggest and most memorable events of the year coming up. These are the kinds of activities that families will want to keep on their radar, with great opportunities for fun, adventure, and lasting Scout memories. Be sure to take a look at the upcoming dates and details so your Scout does not miss out on some of the highlights of the year.
Spring Family Camp - Top Shot JR
Top Shot Jr. is our spring camping adventure and one of the most exciting outdoor events of the year. Scouts will have the chance to participate in BB guns, slingshots, and archery—activities that are only offered on limited occasions in Cub Scouting. It is always a favorite weekend, and Scouts will also have the opportunity to earn three activity belt loops.
We hope you can join us for a great weekend of fun and adventure. All of the advancement events will be on Saturday, those that do not want to family camp are welcome to come out for Saturday only. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

- Location: John Nichols Scout Ranch, 12109 S County Line Rd., near Mustang
- Registration: Now open
- Cost: $35 for Scouts, $10 for adults
- Meals: Unlike the fall campout, we will be cooking all meals in camp except lunch, so there will be an additional food cost
- Activities: BB guns, slingshots, and archery
- Advancement Opportunity: Scouts can earn three activity belt loops during the weekend
- Required for attendance: Completed medical forms for all participants
- Required for camping: All Cub Scouts must tent with their parents/guardian adult(s)
- Required for camping adults: Current Youth Protection Training certificate

The Webelo Den is still exploring options to have a dedicated camping experience for the Webelos (4th graders) which would occur on May 1–3. Official communications on this camp will come out very soon.
OKC Comets Scout Night
Join us for a fun night at the ballpark for OKC Comets Scout Night on Saturday, May 9. This special event is a great chance for Scouts and families to enjoy a game together while taking part in some extra Scout-only activities before first pitch. From early entry and pregame fun to the on-field parade, it should be a memorable evening for everyone attending.

- Where to sit: Some Pack 331 folks have seats in Section 102 (Row A & B) if you want to sit together!

- Pregame Activities: Lawn games, music, and a pregame meal
- Special Opportunity: All Scouts and leaders in uniform may participate in the on-field parade

America250 Celebration
This May our Scouts have the chance to be part of something bigger than an ordinary weekend event. The America250 Celebration is Last Frontier Council’s tribute to the 250th anniversary of American independence, bringing Scouts together for a day of patriotism, hands-on activities, outdoor skill demonstrations, ceremonies, and an evening fireworks show. It should be a fun way for our Cub Scouts to celebrate citizenship, adventure, and the spirit of Scouting while taking part in a memorable council-wide event.

- Activities include: patriotic ceremonies, program booths, Scouting demonstrations, and fireworks at 8:30 PM
- Early bird cost: $10 for registered members through April 15
- Regular cost: $15 per person after April 15
- General public admission: $5, general public children under 10: Free

Twilight Camp
Scouts are invited to head back in time for Dino-Themed Twilight Camp, a week of evening adventure filled with hands-on fun and a prehistoric twist. From shooting sports and crafts to games, STEM, and outdoor skills, this camp packs a lot of excitement into a schedule that works especially well for busy families. It’s a great way for Cub Scouts to kick off summer with friends, fun, and a whole lot of Scouting adventure. This is a great option for families who want a big camp experience without being away all day or overnight.

- Theme: Dino-Themed Twilight Camp

- Format: Weeklong Monday-Friday evening camp

We are Cub Scout Pack 331 for boys and girls in grades K-5 in Edmond, OK.
We meet during the school year on Mondays at 6:30 PM at St. Monica Catholic Church.
