Final Pack Meeting

May 8, 2026

May 11 - Final Den Meetings

Our last Den Meeting of the year will be hosted in the Parish Hall. Scouts will meet up with their Den Leaders to start the meeting and then join in on the primary activity of making water bottle rockets for our final Pack Meeting.

  • Meeting Place: Parish Hall
  • Meeting Time: 6:30 - 7:30
  • Activities: Kick-off in Den breakouts (find your Den Leader!) and then build water bottle rockets.

What to Bring:

  • Water bottle(s) - 2 liter or SMART water bottles are great. Most water bottles with a standard opening size will work. Larger bottles like Gatorade will not work.
  • Cardboard - Any amount that can be cut into wings, cones, etc.
  • Duct Tape - Any tape that can be used to secure cardboard on to plastic. Duct tape works best and comes in many colors. Dollar Tree is a good source!
  • Scissors - Used for cutting up cardboard, bring a pair if you can, but we should have plenty.

Special Notes:

We encourage anyone able to bring extra items to share, especially water bottles. We will have some tables setup to place items you intend to share.

May 18 - Final Pack Meeting!

We made it to the last Pack Meeting of the year—somehow with most of our sanity and Scouts still accounted for! We hope all of our Scouts have enjoyed their time this year, made great memories, and benefited along the way from the adventures, lessons, and friendships. To celebrate, we’re planning to launch water bottle rockets, which means there’s a strong chance that science, excitement, and a little bit of water chaos will all happen at the same time. We may also have a few other ways for Scouts to get wet, so please dress accordingly, bring a towel if you’d like, and be ready for a fun, splashy send-off to an awesome year!

  • Meeting Place: St. Monica soccer field
  • Meeting Time: 6:30 - 8:00
  • Activities: Launch water bottle rockets

What to Bring:

  • Water bottle rocket!
  • *Rockets can be built there if you miss the Den Meeting on 5/11
  • Appropriate attire for Scouts to get wet

Special Notes:

We know that there are many conflicts for folks with end of the year school activities. We hope everyone can come to at least one of the final meetings so our Scouts can visit with each other one more time and receive any outstanding awards (if applicable).

Twilight Camp

Scouts are invited to head back in time for Dino-Themed Twilight Camp, a week of evening adventure filled with hands-on fun and a prehistoric twist. From shooting sports and crafts to games, STEM, and outdoor skills, this camp packs a lot of excitement into a schedule that works especially well for busy families. It’s a great way for Cub Scouts to kick off summer with friends, fun, and a whole lot of Scouting adventure. With good conversation/communication, some Scouts (2nd grade+) can be left for the evening with participating adults.

Spring Family Camp filled up and many Scouts missed out. Move quickly to ensure that doesn't happen with Twilight Camp!
